Red Cross Pillowcase Project* In-Person
The Pillowcase Project is an interactive preparedness program designed for youth ages 8 to 11. Students will learn about the science of locally relevant hazards and how to best prepare for them. They will practice what to do if a disaster occurs and how to cope with related fear and stress. Afterwards, they will share the skills they have learned with their family and friends so everyone in the household knows what to do. All children will be given a Preparedness Workbook, a pillowcase and fabric markers to decorate their pillowcase.
