Mobile Museum presents: History on the Huckleberry
The Mobile Museum is on the move! The Montgomery Museum of Art and History is partnering with the MFRL Bookmobile to bring history alive at the Coal Mining Heritage Park. Meander down the Huckleberry and learn about the history of the Merrimac Mine from local historians and volunteers. Check out artifacts provided by the museum, or try your luck at mining out a fortune in chocolate chips. All ages are welcome. Parking available at the Huckleberry Trail parking lot on Merrimac Rd.
