Local Artist: Teresea Morefield
Teresea Morefield started doing pottery seven years ago, embracing the art form after becoming an empty nester. With roots in watercolor and acrylic painting, she now blends those mediums into her ceramic work. Primarily wheel-thrown with occasional hand-built elements, her pieces balance practicality with artistic flair. While she creates a few sculptures, her focus remains on functional pottery. Her studio name, 3dogpotter, honors the three loyal dogs who once accompanied her—often as covered in clay as she was.
The exhibit is at the Blacksburg Library in the glass display case and runs through October.
